Egypt Air is the national airlines of Egypt and is owned by Egyptian Government. Not only this, Egypt Air is also an important member of Arab Air Carriers Organization. This domestic airline of Egypt has flights to around 70 destinations in various parts of Europe, Africa, Far East, the USA and Canada along with wide range of services within the country. Some of the important domestic destinations include Abu Simbel, Alexandria, Assiut, Aswan, Hurghada, Luxor, Marsa Matruh, Marsa Alam, and Sharm El Sheik. Egypt Air is celebrating its 75th "Diamond" Anniversary this year.
Established in 1932, Egypt Air is the first airline in the Middle East which started operating jet liners. It also owns two other airlines which include Egypt Air Express and Air Sinai. If you want to travel by Egypt Air you have to book your tickets as early as possible. After your tickets are confirmed by the airlines you also need to reconfirm your reservation at least 72 hours prior to the departure. Egypt Air also asks the passengers to report to the airport at least 120 minutes prior to the departure of their respective flights. For US passengers arriving through scheduled aircrafts, the reporting time is 60 minutes. There are various items which are hazardous and are banned by the airlines. A list of them is given below:

The baggage which you will carry with you in the airplane will include your personal items only and there will be no charges for it. For adults and children who will be traveling by paying half fares will not have the facility of free baggage. Personal items which you can carry with you include:

- Small Camera
- Pair of Binoculars
