Abdelrahman Munif: Writer of “Cities of Salt”, Munif has gained immense popularity in western countries. Due to lack of readership in Egypt, the book did not get enough publicity in its nation. The story of the novel deals with a very contemporary subject. It speaks about the story of corruption faced by poor people as an impact of the American business and discovery of oil from a remote oasis of Arab.
