Misr El-Fatah (Young Egypt) Party is one of the well known political parties in Egypt. The Constitution of Egypt regards the nation to be a multi party democracy. In October 1933, Misr El-Fatah (Young Egypt) Party was founded by Ahmed Husayn. Before the party was founded, its followers shared a bitter relationship with the Wafd Parties. Under extreme manipulation from the government, Misr El-Fatah (Young Egypt) Party was declared illegal and disbanded for some time. In 1940, the Misr El-Fatah (Young Egypt) Party adopted a new name.

Renamed as the Nationalist Islamic Party, Misr El-Fatah (Young Egypt) Party followed strict rules as seen in the Holy Quran . After the World War II, Misr El-Fatah (Young Egypt) Party was again renamed as the Socialist Party of Egypt. During the military coup in Egypt, Misr El-Fatah (Young Egypt) Party was disbanded along with a whole lot of other political parties.
By 1990, another wing of Misr El-Fatah (Young Egypt) Party came closer and called them as the Young Egypt Group. Associated with revolutionary thought and newer changes, Misr El-Fatah (Young Egypt) Party continues to remain as one of the most popular political parties in Egypt.
