Solidarity Party (Hizb Al Takaful) is one of the most important political parties in Egypt. It basically happens to be an Islamic political party in Egypt. Dr. Osama Shaltout was nominated to be the head of the Solidarity Party (Hizb Al Takaful). He ran for the first multi- candidate presidential election. Solidarity Party in Egypt managed to field five candidates to run for the legislative elections in the year of 2000.
