The Festival Complex is also close to the Step Pyramid of Djoser where the Pharoah kings used to chase the sacred bull around the courtyard and catch it by the tail. This was known as the sed festival. The Mortuary Temple and its huge hall, which has a flat –ceiling also attracts the attention of the tourists.
