About October 6 University
October 6 University is one of the private universities in Egypt, located on the 6th of October City, near the capital of Egypt, Cairo. Also known as O6U, the October 6 University is a different sort of university in Egypt that offers various courses to the students from all the parts of the country through 14 different faculties. Built on a vast area of more than 40 acres, the October 6 University has an educational 320 bed hospital where the four faculties of the university including Medicine, Dentistry, Physical Therapy, and Applied Medical Sciences are housed. October 6 University is also one of the two universities in Egypt that award a medical degree recognized by the ministry of Health and the Egyptian syndicate of physicians.
The October 6 University also has a 420 room hotel which consists of separate male and female dormitories. The October 6 University offers internship program to the students of medical science in Al Kaskar Al Ainy Hospital. The October 6 University also has the accreditation from the World Health Organization (WHO).
